Required Experience (Essential to fulfil the role):

1. Handling the booking of containers both nationally and internationally with shipping lines and agents.

2. Documentation procedures associated with these bookings on an export level.

3. Import documentation requirements for goods imported from overseas, both Europe and further afield.

4. HS Code identification and Customs Clearance, both at sea ports and airports.

5. Working with UK transport companies and couriers to handle nationwide product distribution.

6. Proficiency in handling back off stock management systems to correctly record stock level, and process incoming goods and outgoing orders.

 

Desirable Experience (required to fulfil the role, but can be learnt/up-skilled):

1. Managing warehouse operations and the creation and implementation of physical goods in/goods out processes.

2. Experience using a forklift.

3. Experience managing a small workforce from varied backgrounds.

 

All of the above experience (both required and desirable) comprises to form the roles and responsibilities of the position being recruited for.
