B2B Business Development Executive (sales) - new

DTS Trading is a distribution specialist for disposable products spanning hygiene, medical, industrial, construction, retail and food manufacturing sectors. The company prides itself on three key things that are relevant for this role:

 

I) Solving problems for the partners it works with. Not imposing on what the company wants to sell, but listening and servicing them with what they need.

II) The experience it provides its partners in the whole sales journey, right through from initial contact, to order delivery and subsequent after sales care.

III) Unrivalled industry knowledge giving partners confidence in the suitability and certification of products supplied to them.

 

The company is looking to recruit new team members to operate in the following sectors:

          ⁃         Hygiene and Medical

          ⁃         Health & Social Care 

          ⁃         Industrial & Construction

          ⁃         Food Processing & Manufacturing

          ⁃         Office Supplies & Retail

 

Any candidate wishing to apply for the position should have experience in one or more of the above sectors. An essential requirement for the role is the ability of any candidate to demonstrate sector expertise, which will be assessed in detail as part of the interview process.

 

Required Experience (Essential to fulfil the role):

  1. Sales - Multiple examples of identifying and securing new leads and turning these leads into sales and subsequent long term partners for the business.

  2. Industry experience – Candidates should be able to demonstrate how they have operated in one of these sector successfully and used sector specific knowledge to secure new business.

  3. An understanding of the core disposable product requirements within the relevant sector.

 

Desirable Experience (required to fulfil the role, but can be learnt/up-skilled):

  1. Understanding B2B sales processes and the sales journey from initial contact to securing an order, and the complexities involved with this.

  2. Pipelining leads and planning 1-3-6 month pipelines for new and existing customers.

 

All of the above experience (both required and desirable) comprises to form the roles and responsibilities of the position(s) being recruited for.

Location

  • The role will be remote based, combining working from home, travel to client meetings and two meetings per month in the company’s office in London or warehouse in Watlington.

 

Working Schedule:

  • 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend requirements.

Sales & Marketing assistant - new

DTS Trading is a B2B sourcing and distribution specialist for disposable products across the hygiene, medical, industrial, construction, retail and food manufacturing sectors. The company is now looking for a Sales and Marketing Assistant to streamline all the corporate business processes across marketing, sales and operations.

This is a starting role that offers and opportunity to gain extensive experience in marketing and sales within a growing company. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to learn everything about business processes, sales and marketing operations. This is a newly created role with direct reporting to the Director of Marketing and Operations, and everyday collaboration with the DTS Sales Team. The role does not require any previous experience. Some experience in assistant / sales / marketing roles will be beneficial but not essential. The attitudinal attributes listed below in bold are essentials for the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing

  • Assist in the annual marketing strategy, planning and execution;

  • Generate sector marketing research and collect sector news feeds for the sales team;

  • Assist Marketing Director with product datasheets, presentations and video content;

  • Promote the company’s LinkedIn and Twitter profiles; create short social media posts;

  • Assist in the creation of the DTS customer journey (on-line and off-line);

 

  • Sales

  • Identify opportunities for new leads generation;

  • Sales and Marketing online research (product / competitor / price);

  • Assist the Sales Team with customer communications and sales operations;

  • Create internal communication for new product arrivals;

 

  • Operations

  • Assist Head of Logistics with updating purchase orders in the system;

  • Register expenses in the system;

Requirements:

  • There are no specific educational requirements for this role.

  • Experience in client facing communication and interaction is preferred, although not essential.

  • Excellent oral and written communication.

  • Innovative thinking focused around client sourcing, management and growth

Location:

  • The role will be remote based (70%)

  • Combining working from home, weekly meetings with Marketing Director in London / Sales Team, and two meetings per month in the company’s office in London or warehouse in Watlington (30%).
